PET AWARENESS DAY | SEPTEMBER 18
Thinking of getting a new pet? Bring the whole family and do your pet homework early! Whether you're thinking of a dog, cat or something more exotic, Zoo animal care staff will be doing pet demonstrations all day and taking your questions about which animals make the best pets.


Q&A sessions run hourly from 11:45am – 4:45pm, and include discussions about birds, small mammals, reptiles and primates as pets. Download the Pet Awareness Day Flyer for scheduled animal talks.

Easter Egg Hunts | Sat & Sun, April 23rd & 24th
Bring your Easter Baskets for an action packed zoo day! Meet our baby bunnies,
bottle feed little lambs and enjoy Easter egg hunts, face painting and special visits from
the Easter Bunny.

Egg hunts take place on Saturday and
Sunday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm. Special egg hunts for children 4 and under take place
in our picnic area at 10am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Egg hunts
are FREE with admission to the zoo. (1 egg hunt per day per child.)
